Tod, the Hollow Swarm, is a lieutenant of Swayne. In battle he summons almost identical copies of himself to swarm his foes (hence the name), but if his true body is found he can be defeated very easily (in game terms, he has eight hitpoints). However, he is very difficult to kill, with the ability to reform from a pool in Old House almost immediately after his body is destroyed.

- The name Tod was chosen becuase it is the German (and therefore Elvish) word for death. It is unknown whether this means that Tod is linked to the Elves in some way.
- Demonac claims that prior to the release of Episode 53, he has never heard of Todd in the Shadows.
