The Gauntlet of Sirius is a radical splinter group of The Hand of Sirius, founded by Marcus Jonasson, formerly the Hand's top secular leader.
They are aligned with the Northern Faction (proper name pending) opposed to the Deluvian-Vistrian Peace Treaty.

According to Thiswell, Jonasson took approximately 37% of the Basilica's staff with him, along with a greater proportion of The Hand's agents in the north. He seems to have taken mostly combat staff, with fewer priests and artificers.
