Oru is the fictitious (that is, fictitious within the already fictitious universe of TDDC) protagonist of the Hero Tale series of antique collectable propaganda comics distributed by the Illud in the dwarven lands.
Oru (whose name is literally Kuar for "You") was a clear reader-avatar; not a total blank slate, but his personality was minimal beyond the sense of duty and propensity for heroism which drove the story forward.
