Swayne's Shadowfel Crows appear to be ridden by stitched-together piles of humanoid limbs, presumably some sort of undead abomination. The exact nature and intelligence of these, for lack of a better word, creatures is unknown, although assuming they're present as riders as opposed to observers or communicators, they must be more intelligent than the crows.
