Kaavin Tayria was the leader of the Drow who invaded the mine in Corso's Chasm from the Underdark. He was a fairly brutal commander, massacring the [[Ibixian]] slaves when they, wrongly assuming that the changeover in leadership was a point of weakness, attempted to rebel against their taskmasters. He was also unusually tall, a trait which Drow occasionally gain due to recessive genes left over from their [[Elves|Elven]] heritage.
