The name 'Angor' (for the mountains and the wasteland between them and Gruel) may be an example of linguistic drift, originating from the old orc name for the mountain marking the North-East corner of Gruel, which they call Ang-Gark.

The Angor Mountains are a mountain range in Vistria, on the border with the Urruk desert. There is some Vistrian territory past the mountains, such as Kuraj, but they act as the de facto limit of the King's control, as mountains play havoc with supply lines.

The name 'Angor' (for the mountains and the wasteland between them and Gruel) may be an example of linguistic drift, originating from the old orc name for the mountain marking the North-East corner of Gruel, which they call Ang-Gark.
